Art has always been a part of my life. It feeds the creative fire that burns in this redheaded soul. Beads captured my heart and I have followed this trail of light leading me to where I exist today.
I have been teaching and creating with PMC & Art Clay for 12 years I am a certified instructor with both companies. I have had over 700 students and started the Seattle/Tacoma local chapter of the National PMC Guild. We have been meeting for the past 4 years and have a great group of delightful artists, generous and giggling their way thru a myriad of projects and challenges, while finding a safe haven to renew their creative spirits. Hence the name of our guild THE NW CREATIVE SPIRITS.
I am a silver smith, fuse glass, work in resin and am a seed bead artist. I love putting combinations of metal, glass and beads in unique ways to tell my stories of life.
I have had a wonderful group of teachers who helped me on my way. Thanks to all of you. Thanks to Lance who has supported my wild hairs and artistic bent thru many avenues and some whom I am sure he wondered,” What was I thinking to try that?” But then later saw how my mind sees the world and was able to spring board my creative efforts into a unique work of art.
Thanks to my sisters of the heart and my dear friend Kathy would has believed in me and took a chance on my teaching and let me soar.
And a big thanks to all of you who love the treasures we find as much as we do.
