Long ago in a funky old shopping mall two women chanced to meet one fall evening in a class. Little did they know where this road would take them? They became fast friends sharing a love of travel, adventure good food and laughter. Both were hard workers, blazing trails for the generations to come.
In their pursuit of life and all it had to offer, art stuck its head in the door and whistled. The strange song wound its way into their souls and awoke in them the joy of creative pursuits.
Being the wonderful women they are, they began to create in many different ways .Baskets were woven, Dolls of many sizes and shapes began to appear stacked in corners waiting to find just the right thing to complete them. Gardens were grown flowers and herbs brightened the landscapes. Herbs were dried and vinegars were created to heal and feed the soul. Natural Fibers woven into colorful creations, and even wool was spun from a humble fleece into magnificent yarn.
Always searching, always shopping, collecting and organizing storehouses of wonderful treasures began to grow.
In the meantime the two women had also grown and changed. J and P were always striving to improve themselves, share giggles and weather life’s storms while protecting the creative flame that burned in each of them.
At one point with an amazing group of people, they became family, sisters by choice. Passing through life’s cycles menopause entered the picture or should I say flashed in and two new powerful women emerged Queens in their own right. Self appointed buffeted and groomed by years of life, Jane and Peg became the Queens of Possibilities. Out of the dust and shards of what was their former life Wild Hair Studio rose like a phoenix. And now they have a delightful business with wonderful and unique beads and treasures for your creative pursuits.
